Re: Any advice on E-Bay?

My wife just won a new swimsuit for $9 plus $5 shipping. Not bad for an $87 dollar suit. I bought my 16'/35hp boat on ebay for under $1500 and it came with a brand new trailer. I've had it 5 years and only put an impeller and a couple props on it. I also bought a 15 hp Johnson off ebay for $250, I could only get it to run on one cylinder. The auction said runs good. It cost $150 to fix it and the seller paid the bill. I also love ebay, great deals can be had if you are patient.

Re: Any advice on E-Bay?

Im an Ebay "NUT"!!!!! I have allmost 400 transactions buying and selling. I have been stung a couple of times, small things and generally my fault. Something I wanted and I took a chance on a flaky seller.

There are a lot, and I mean a lot of fake Emails going around for Ebay and PayPal also, Do not reply to any of them that do not have your name on them, Like, "Dear PayPal Member"! Or "Ebay Customer"! Give personal information only after logging on to your account, never log on from your emails.

I've already been outbid on the item I wanted. The auction ends in 8 days. I'll wait till then to place another bid, if the price is right.
