Any advice on stereo

89 Ranger 373v Dual Console with single front bench on the passenger side. Here's the closest pics on the net that are similar in design

Any ideas of locations to put a stereo and set of speakers in a boat like this? I'd hate to take up the glove box with the stereo and not sure on speakers unless I try to hide some 6x9's or 6.5's under the consoles.

Hide the stereo under the dash and put a remote head control on the dash They're only about the size of a coaster.

Put the speakers under the seats, facing out.

I'll look into the remote head control. As for the seats there's storage compartment maybe coolers (six pack under each seat?). The middle seat might be usable for something though.

Try a 'black box' setup. You can mount the main component anywhere you want and just have a small faceplate/remote on the helm. I like the idea of the speakers under the seats facing out. Did that one on a aluminum mod-v. Worked great.

My con is crouded like that and I put the stereo in the side of the console, worked out pretty well, speakers you just have to put where they will fit.

These are surface mount marine speakers...no cutting required.
This is what the dash radio control may look like. It's a wired control unit and the radio can be mounted out of sight up to 10' away.
