AOL Homepage Problems?

Is anyone else having a problem accessing AOL.com or AOL email the past several days?

Both at home and at work, my computer locks up after I open my email and shuts down Windows Explorer.

I ran a manual virus scan and it comes up with nothing. Any ideas what might be happening?

I noticed that explorer had a bunch of security updates. Try downloading and running firefox and see if that improves or helps. I know when I switched from AOL to comcast that removing all of AOL was a big pain. Seems to me I had to use registry cleaner software to remove all of it. AOL is a very invasive program. It could be the new security updates for IE are messing with you.
