I have a boat with a 1992 75 hp, 3 cylinder, ELPTO mercury on it

I want to put a 1995 115 hp, 4 cylinder, ELPTO mercury on the boat. Can I use the 75 hp controls and wiring harness on the 115 hp?

Thanks, Scottt

Hey, took the 75 hp off, put the 115 hp on and got it started. But my Tachometer won't work.

Any ideas why the Tach won't work?

Does it have anything to do with the 75 and 115 (runs on 2 cylinders until reach a certain rpm) tach functions not being compatable?

How do you trouble shoot this?

Thanks, Scott
