boat is storage for 4 years?

I recently bought a valco 16 foot aluminum boat with a 1975 johson 135 jet prop motor. It has been sitting outside for the past 3 or 4 years and I was wondering what I need to do before I should try and start it up. The previous owner said it was running perfectly when he parked it. Anything will help. Thanks Collin
