Ok how to you do an alignment to a boat? 89 Ranger 373V 150HP Evinrude. This is only the 2nd time I've had the boat in the water since I bought it a few months back. I don't remember if it pulled the first time I drove it or not. It's seems pretty bad as if you were to let go of the steering wheel you'd probably end up doing circles not just veering off a little. How do you adjust this on a boat like this?

usually there is a trim tab on the underside of the anti ventilation plate. this tab is usually adjustable. turn it the direction of the pull. so if ya pull to port, adj. the tab further to port..

Re: Boat pulls to the right

yeah I was looking on the boat not the outboard looks easy enough. I did make one change though when I added a new sensor for the fish finder I'm noticing now that it is just a little under the height of the bottom of the boat so that would create slight drag would that be enough to make a difference? It's probably about 1/2 inch lower than the boat. I used the same mounting holes as the last one but this one has an adjustable bracket didn't think someting that small could make any difference though.

Nope its not your new sensor. Adjust the trim tab per Ziggy.

You wouldn't even feel the drag from the sensor. Turn the trim tab, that'll fix it.
