Bombardier model and year unknown

I've got a Bombardier motor mostly torn appart and I need help identifying the manufacturer, model and year. Is it evinrude or johnson? The nameplate on the bracket confirms it is a Bombardier but the numbers are all obscurred. The serial number is on the block welsch plug is H9516664. the motor has a tiller, is long shaft, rope start, carbureted and I'm thinking four stroke. Can anyone help me ID this?? Thanks!

The Low Emissions decal is the only one.

That would be a 9.9 or 15 HP 4 stroke.-----Marketed from about 1995 to 2001 model year.----Why is it all apart like that?-----Not one of the most popular motors either.

I got it after it had been swimming. It turns over but is tight at one point in the 720 degrees. I've thought about putting it back together to see if I can get it to run. The carb is toast with corrosion but it would be nice to have a four stroke. I don't really need it. I be happy to sell parts. How can I pin down the model and year, if you know? Are you a mechanic / dealer? Thanks for the help.

Year does not matter as they were all the same for those few years.-----Sell the parts.----Not worth the effort to make it run.

I suspect you found an Anchor that the Chain came off of...

I have 3 of them for parts.----One the dealer told owner " low compression " not worth fixing.------One with lower unit blown up.----Same lower unit as the 2 stroke ( different driveshaft upper spline )-----One the dealer said " run without oil " offered it to me for $100 I said, " Sure I will take it ".-----Not sure how one of these can be run without oil.-----Have not given the motor a once over yet.

Were those actual OMC motors or were they relabeled Suzuki Motors?

They were NOT SUZUKI built.---One source stated that maybe they were Briggs & Stratton designed .---Lower units and carburetors were definitely OMC designs on these late 1990's OMC 4 strokes. !------Yes , Johnson marketed Suzuki built 4 strokes from say 2002 till end ( 2007 ) of Johnson marketing

I have a 1997 SUZUKI 15 HP as well -----Not even a close resemblance to the OMC units.
