Sea Rider, I’ve started a new thread since where covering the whole project. It all starts with a simple water pump. Lol All new fuel system from a new tank to the carburetors. Then cleaned the carburetors bodies and completely rebuilt with all new parts. All jets etc. Ran great then the third trip it’s hard to start and idle was a little high. Had one sneeze and died but started back up and hasn’t sneezed since. And not priming good. I found the new fittings at the motor leaking. Replaced them and it’s priming good again just haven’t had a chance to run it yet. Been good at wot. Will be checking rpms next time out. Also now trying to prop it. The old ones in bad shape and no numbers. Pulled the middle seat for more room. Boat had no wiring. I actually ran the wiring to a storage under the rear seat and use all sae connectors with a small 18ah sealed battery. Got the idea from the kayak folks since my motor is a pull start. Installed led lights which draw very little and the fish finder 1/2amp per hour. I’ve been on the water for 8 hours and barely pulled on the battery. Have a front deck with a 55lb. trolling motor on its own battery. About to redo the trailer as it’s a little small for the boat so adding a cross bunk to the bow and adjusting etc. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Especially on the motor. Or if y’all want to see any pictures just tell me what you want. I’m learning as I go so if anyone has input please by all means. Thanks

An older pic . Will definitely post a newer one. If you zoom in you can see where they hacked down the transom to put the short shaft motor on the boat and left it open. I want to dress that up and bolt the engine ( now it’s just clamps) . I’ll post a better picture tomorrow . Was wondering should I file it even and shape some aluminum to make a cap or any other ideas? Since the last post I checked wheel bearings and after removing and cleaning up the hubs there was to much corrosion for the new seals to work so it now has all new hubs with bearings. Got more deck work to do and take care of some damage to the front end. Got the motor running decent. Found out the new epa fuel tanks suck. Since they don’t vent , swell up like an over inflated basketball, then the pressure forces fuel to leak out of the motor. Fixed that problem now I’m stuck with a $80 fuel tank that’s useless. Looks good though. Lol Now running an older tank but it’s in great shape with everything else new and epa approved. None ethanol fuel so hopefully no fuel line separation like with the grey stuff. I have the approved black hose and even covered it with gorilla sleeve. Should last years. More pictures to come. Again any thoughts or ideas greatly appreciated as I’m learning as I go. Thanks
