I got a deal on a Weber 4 barrel carb part # 9776S. It originally came mercruiser 8.2L. The primary jet is .110 and secondary is .101 The same carb made for a 350 had a .101 and .95 Will this carb work for my 350 vortec (out of a stock 96 suburban with a edelbrock performer rpm intake)? Should I rejet it? Not sure on CFM.

I'm no carb expert but I would think a big block carb has bigger butterflies along with bigger jets different metering rod and probably different accelerator pump
Than a small block carb.

Ayuh,.... All ya can do is Try it, 'n tune it to match yer motor,....

The 650 cfm carb would be a Better startin' point, but ya oughta be able to tune that 750 cfm to work,....

glug.. glug .. for gas on that carb you only need a 600 or a 650 cfm. carb but you can leave the jets in and just change the rods to 70x47 or 73x47 with a natural colored spring.the rods that are in there now are probably 65x47. Webers run the primary jets 80% of the time that's why the primaries are bigger than the secondaries.
