Hi, Jory.<br /><br />Compression ratios are generally irrelevant in 2 strokes because there are open ports for a good portion of the piston stroke.<br /><br />Actual psi readings vary a lot because of differences in technique and guages. Generally all cylinders should read within a 10-15% range when measured exactly the same way.<br /><br />Most Service Manuals set 100psi as a target, but you have to use exactly the method described in the book for that to be a valid number. I wouldn't worry about an engine that gave me 90psi, + or - 10psi.<br /><br />Good luck.
