I can't seem to make heads or tails out of this. I am trying to convert to remote for my QD23R. I will try to include two pictures (one of shift side, the other of throttle side). I believe (from reading other posts) that I need a bracket to attach to the cowl for the shift linkage to a cable. Does anyone have one of these brackets? What do I need to do for the throttle side. Some discription of how to do this and links to parts required would be great. If anyone has these items and would like to part with them, please message me.

Thanks!

There is a good write-up about converting to remote controls over at Duckworks magazine Obsolete Outboards, remote throttle and shift . Here's an index of all the Obsolete Outboard columns; index. The next one covers steering. Good luck!

Thanks for the helpful links. It makes more sense after seeing it on another motor.
