I?m thinking there should be a HID lable on the upper left of transome

I don?t see a HID lable.

As I said in your other topic, if its a 1983, it has a HIN

Unless it was removed by someone. If it was removed, there should be evidence of it.

FYI: HIN is on the top right corner looking forward from the stern.

as a riveted aluminum tag
