Drive Shaft Replace Alpha I Gen II

Can anyone hepl me with instructions, tips, etc on how to replace a drive shaft on a Alpha I Gen II lower unit. This is the shaft that runs up & down, vertical, and drives the lower unit water pump. Yesterday I hit a rock w/ a ss prop, and now my shaft is sheared off. Have unit off on bench.

Also would like to know how to remove the other shaft in the upper unit, the one with the universal joints on it because this needs to be removed so that I can get the little broken off peice out.

Where is a good place to buy replacement parts.
