Re: EBay raised their fees
So how will the increases impact how you sell, and what we see on ebay?

So, ignoring anything that has to do with vehicles:

Turbo lister is now going to cost you a dime, which could add up, if you are a high volume seller.

Listing fees didn't change much. So little impact if sellers start at a lower starting bid, which could increase some bidding activity(maybe). And, if you don't want to start bidding at less than a dollar, it will cost you an extra nickel. This will amount to a big pile of nickels for ebay, but can be avoided with a low starting bid.

Reserve price fees have gone up quite a bit. So expect to see fewer low priced (under $40) items with a reserve price, or a $1 higher reserve price(pass it on to the buyer). Or this may encourage some sellers to increase their starting price, which will cost them a nickel or two.

If you have an ebay store, the per item insertion fees are cut in half. So maybe we will see more ebay stores. Maybe not.

Finally, the ten day listing fee, doubled to $.20 .
Is it a move to make more $ by ebay, or to discourage 10 day listings? I think it is to make more $. And I think it is worth it, if you cover two weekends. Again, if you are a volume seller, this will add up. Want to save the $.20, then go with the 7 day listing.

Pictures haven't changed, which would have been a huge revenue generator for ebay.

So most if the increases can be avoided or passed on.

OK, tell me where I'm all wrong and terribly confused on this.
