I am just trying to get a feel for the type connectors most of you use in your builds. Three types come to mind and have good capabilities. Of course there are many other types on the market, but here are three I see readily available in so many configurations.
First is the Molex connector.
I can see a use for such types but not too sure about weather properties. I do have the crimping tool for them and even some pins and sockets as well.
Then there is the Deutsch connectors. A lot more weather resistance and very nice sealing properties and capabilities. Actually my new Faria Gauges use these types for their connections.
And then the Delphi type connectors which also looks to be really well sealed from the weather. I see a lot of these used on the GM vehicles and equally available in so many configuration as well.
I was wondering which type you usually use on boats for your wiring the different type circuits and accessories.
I have used all three and just interested what you all think and use... :noidea:
