Can someone recommend electronic ignition 3.0 delco mercruiser. I have a 1988 four winns 160 freedom. It has the old points system in it. I would like to replace it with electroic ignition. Please send a link to a web page. Thanks so much. Great web page.

For the Pertronix, look at www.Amarket.com, best price I've seen so far.. Also, there is a company that sells pertronix units on ebay which might get you a better deal. If looking at pertronix, look at the Igniter II. More expensive but will not destroy itself when leaving the ignition on with motor off like the igniter I will..
