engine coupler bolt torque

Ford 302 Merc 256s 1974: I'm replacing the ine engcoupler but I can't find what torque to use for the bolts in my manuals. I guessing about 35 ft-lb. Can anyone help?

Ayuh,.......... I Believe those are 3/8ths" Bolts/Studs...........<br /><br />That would require 35Ft/Lbs........<br /><br />5/16ths" would be 25/30ft.lbs.......

check the fit on the splines/drive before you get too far into the install & don't forget the loctite...sl
