Flat Trim Tab Anode

I have a 1989 Mercury Black Max 150HP that the Trim Tab Anode is missing. I would like to replace it with a flat trim tab anode since my steering is not affected by the missing part. Which one should I purchase? I am not sure if Mercury make a flat one for my motor.

Not recommended you use a flat plate. Best use the anode recommended by the manufacturer. <br /><br />-31640

Mercury makes a flat anode for most all of thier outboards if you don't need or want the trim tab sticking down. They work fine...I have a flat on my Merc by Merc
