Flip seat on center console boat

I have just noticed in my newly purchased 2004 Grady White Sportsman 180 that the flip bench seat is unstable in one corner. Looking at it closer it has pulled right out of the floor. I am afraid to unscrew, all the way, the remaining three screws at the other corners of the bench as I don't know how they are anchored to the floor. Any suggestions on how to fix this one corner?

sounds as if you have water intrusion into the deck, also known as ROT. suggest a new screw near the location.

is the that whole area soft? if so,,you have to cut out the soft area and repair.
if not either fill in the existing holes alow to cure then re screw using some 3M 5200 or use toggles to pull tightly to the underside of the floor

Re: Flip seat on center console boat

There is no rot or soft spots in the floor. Patching and then 3m sounds like the way to go. Thank you. Do I have to worry about the other anchors when I remove them to pull the seat off? Will I loose the ability to screw the seat down tight again or do you thinks the anchors in place will stay intacted?
Thanks in advance.
