Freezer Question

Will it be ok to lay a freezer down horizontal to travel a couple hundred miles, about an 8-10 hour trip.

Yes you can with most of the newer ones and then I have been told to let it stand upright for an hour or 2 before you plug it back in.

Ok it was my sister that is taking it home and they aren't gona plug it in for about 24-48 hours they aren't in much of a rush so it should be good. Thanks for the info.
