fuel consumption??

hi all , this is my first post here, sorry for any errors <br /><br />i´m thinkin about an outboard 115 HP suzuki, i currently have a tohatsu 90 HP 2 stroke engine, and it consumes a lot of fuel, may i expect an overall reduction in consumption with this 4 stroke suzuki?? how much fuel should i expect it to spend per hour??( my boat is a 20 feet RIB)<br /><br />thanks for your answers<br /><br />cheers <br /><br />RMVM

Hi RMVM.<br /><br />Welcome to iboats. <br /><br />It depends. Is your Tohatsu a TLDI or carbed?<br /><br />The DF115 should use about half as much fuel as a carbureted 90, but only a little less than the TLDI.
