Working on an XP Pro desktop. User set a password for the repair option you get when you boot to the XP Pro CD and they have no idea what it is. How can I get around this? All I want to do is run chkdsk.

Yea, I kinnda thought you'd be OK with either of those two choices. D/L and burn the Hiren's iso to CD...there's lots to see and do , but be careful, in the wrong hands it's a double edged sword.
