got a cracked ski locker lid??

This is a repair I did to my ski locker lid about 5 years ago, and it has worked out great. So I thought I would share because I'm sure I am not the only person who had/is having this problem. It's a pretty simple/self explanatory fix once you look at the pics. The only recommendations I have is to make sure you use stainless materials, use nylock nuts and try to use screws that are not going to stick out much past the nuts once tightened. As you can see in the pictures I did not give any thought to the length of the screws, I wish I would have.
