I just want to shoot a thanks for your tip on putting vaseline in the lugnut holes of my wheels before painting them. I was shocked at how well it worked... the paint simply didn't dry on the vaseline and I am able to wipe it out with a rag.<br /><br />See, these are the kind of creative and high-quality tips one can expect from this forum. It is also the reason we've achieved 1 milllllion posts!<br /><br />Although, as a humerous side note. I realized I forgot to buy some vaseline when I was going to paint my wheels - so I ran to the grocery store to pick up some.<br /><br />When I was there, I picked up some rubbing alcohol to wipe down the wheels before I painted them. I also picked up a gossip magazine (Star) for my wife just to be "the good husband" since I was going to be spending the whole night in the basement with two steel wheels and a can of primer instead of wifey-poo.<br /><br />It wasn't until I was walking to my Jeep in the Pick 'N Save parking lot that I realized how this looked.<br /><br />Shopping List<br /><br />
