Anyone have one? I bought one about a month ago, and absolutely love it. It was surprisingly easy to set up, and it is great controling all my A/V equipment with one button.

My main question is.....does anyone else who owns one notice that the "glow" feature of the remote turns on via sound/or movement around it? When I shut my door I can see the remote light up across the room.

Re: Harmony Remote

I have the 550 bought it at Best BUY with the 2 year program :)

I am glad i did because a button died at 31 days, the second unit has been good

gotta love anything that can turn all that stuff into one remote that does work most of the time with only pushing the help button a littel bit

It goes to sleep to save batterys and is very sensitve to movement to wake back up

The only thing i do not like is that it has problems with multi HDMI inputs when changeing between some activities like going from the HDMI DVR to the HD tuner and back to the HDMI DVR

And it is to stupid to know you set the sleep timer on the TV so if you dont help it it will FUBAR everything the next time you use the TV :)

However my wife can now watch DVD,DVR and HD Tuner without any problems and NOT need to juggle 4 remotes

The web based setup program is total BS as there are data mineing everything you own and how you use it

Re: Harmony Remote

I have the version made to work with the XBOX 360 (has a few different buttons and has the console pre programmed into it), which I obviously bought from Best Buy.

Seems to be pretty good on battery life, as they still test out strong after well over a month of regular use.

It does a surprisingly good job controling my HD cable box. I honestly can't recall the last time I needed to use one of my 8 other remotes.
