That was not a rant.That was a teacher asking questions about the morality of certain attitudes.Asking questions in order to make pupils think for themselves is what a teacher is supposed to do.<br />You may not like like the questions,but what are your answers?

Blue is green and white is red. Comparing Bush to Hitler. Capitalism is incompatible with human rights, and terrorism is in the eye of the beholder, neat geography lesson. Or was this a lesson in the communist manifesto.<br /><br />He fielded questions from only one kid, which he didn't answer, the one recording, and clearly it wasn't open to questions. And based on his responses, it was clearly balanced right? But I am sure you are right, he probably gave a differing point of view the day before. Heck thats why he was recorded.<br /><br />If this isn't a rant, what is? Please explain the high pitched sqeal in his voice as his hate elevated.

Frankly, he raises some valid issues.....<br />& alot of his statements have truth.....<br />Whether you like it or not...<br />What he said about Israel is very true....<br />He's got them thinking at least....<br />Rolmops, I agree with what you say....<br /><br />One thing is for sure.....This young man has a bright future in the eavesdropping/wiretapping field......<br />Maybe he will do it legally...Maybe not!<br /><br />I don't have a problem with anything the teacher said.....<br />He stated & disclaimed that it was for discussion purposes, & that they should draw their own conclusions.....<br /><br />Was this a geography class or a Social studies/geography class?.....<br />I don't think that his little discourse is gonna turn 'em into bed-wetting Commie/Pinkos overnight....JK

It was in fact an ADVANCED geography class. Not a social studies, political science, foreign culture, or an indoctination class.

These topics were well within the parameters of an advanced geography class.....<br />Politics & geography are inextricably intertwined.....<br />It might be too much for grade schoolers, but I think at the high school level they should be able to handle it!<br />Teenagers know everything anyway ...JK
