HELP GETTING STARTED

I HAVE A SEA KING CHRYSLER 35 HP SERIAL#3720 MODEL#356 HF I BELIEVE IT IS A 1972 MODEL STARTER WON'T TURN EVEN IF YOU JUMP IT ACROSS CYLINOID I ALSO UNHOOKED THE BLUE WIRE ON THE TERMINAL AND TRIED TO PULL START AND STILL NO LUCK.IF ANY HELPFUL HINTS PLEASE HELP .I PUT A LIGHT TESTER TO + OF COIL HAS JUICE NEW PLUGS,NEW GAS,CONNECTIONS ALL TIGHT?

take the spark plugs out and try to turn it buy hand , If it turns then try to pull start it if it turns then your engine is not locked up. Now try the key and cranck it over if that does not work that the starter off and take it into any parts store that checks starter and alternaters and they can tel you whats wrong most of the time.

also hook some jumper cables to the battery and bypass the the cylinoid by jumping the starter
