I have a 2001 bayliner (no, it's not a horro-story Trophy!)

Mine is the Capri 215LX.

Anyhow, I have been having a difficult time finding a cathy name for her. ( I guess I can still say 'her' can't I ? I heard someone was trying to say that calling a boat 'her' is not politically correct? Well, since I hate politics, and I'm definatley NOT political, HER HER HER ! LOL! That's another topic....

I've always believed that the name of most things will present themselves in due time. Maybe the name will reflect their actions, their appearance, style, etc...

Maybe I haven't waited long enough, or I'm impatient! Well, here I am asking for assistance.

Any suggestions?

Personally I'm a machinist with a family of 5.
The boat is the traditional Bayliner blue/white.
It has a 305 Merc, and I swear it has been touched by the hand of God! Why on earth it needs to move that fast I'll never know!

Anyhow... I made a few blunders in it as all rookie boat owners will do. I got too close to a larger boat once going rather fast and jumped her wake. Made my boat almost airborne! Didn't think it could do that.

One time at the dock while putting in, I didn't notice a rather large drop-off at the edge of the ramp. CLUNK!!! Down the trailer went right to the frame. Didn't do any damage, other than my nerves and embarassment!

As I said, all things will usually present themselves with a name. Maybe from my brief boating career will help finding a name?

Thanks,

H.
