hit submerged object

propeller seems to spin on shaft after hitting object. i put engine in gear and now i hear a clicking sound when i turn prop in forward direction. i took prop off but that is a far a it seems i can go without unbolting lower unit. this is my first time. thank you. i need to get this fixed, crappie are bitting!

hello<br /> does the prop shaft click in both directions or does it lock in one direction when the shifter is in fwd gear. its supposed to click in one direction in fwd. you may have spun the prop hub<br /> good luck and keep posting

while in forward gear, the shaft clicks as if the prop in rotating to go forward. it does not click in the reverse direction while in forward gear. thanks for replying rodbolt
