I did a search of the archives for the answer to this question. Some said it should be marked on the prop.... I looked on mine and couldn't find anything that seemed to designate the diameter and pitch. The diameter I can figure out, but the pitch? How do you go about finding out what the pitch is if there are no markings?

I am fairly certain I am going to need a prop with a bigger pitch (I am have put in a 5.7 liter Mercruiser in place of an older 5 liter. This is on a 1988 Alpha 1). I read where increasing the pitch by 2" will decrease the rpms by 300-400, but I need to know what mine is to know where to go from there!
