how do i find a propeller

how do i go about finding the proper propeller for my 45 hp outboard chrysler? i seached iboats data base but no matches. also do i reuse my hub?

Hi Harlyn. The hub assembly is what is causing your problem right now. You need a whole new assembly which is the hub,nut,washer, etc... They typically run about $30 to $40 bucks. The prop does not come with this. What broke is the part the holds the prop on the shaft.<br /><br />I'm guessing that a standard size for your outboard without knowing the year is probably a 10x13.<br />It should say on the prop close to the nut that holds it on by the hub. Iboats should have it.And the hub assembly. You might check a local prop dealer as well. They will have manuals that tell them what it can take.
