LONE SURVIVOR

OK all. I have decided to get the help from you good people here on the forum.<br />Now here is what I need.<br />I raise Rottweilers, or Rottys for short, and my mother dog had her pups this am.<br />She had 16, started last night and went till 2pm, and all died but one male.<br />Now I don't know what happened to the rest, all I know is that if they are meant to make it they will and if not then they don't but this one little guy is the sole survivor and I wanted him to have a unique name so if you all don't care, throw out some names for me to choose from.<br />The "better half" has told me that it is my job to think of a name.<br />This mothers mom, on April fools day, 3 years ago, had 18 and 9 of them survived.<br />So come on and throw some names my way.<br />Thanks.

Our Border Collie only ever had one litter of pups. There were 6 of them, all stillborn, but one of the pups was able to be revived by one of the operating room attendants. We named him "Keeper".

During the Battle of Midway, Torpedo 8 Squadron was wiped out. There was only one survivor. His name was Ensign Gay. How about naming the pup Ensign.

My choice is "Rebel".Since he sort of rebelled against dying.Plus it's kind of a macho name.

update.Now to make matters worse, the mommy don't want anything to do with the pup, but thats ok, I have had this problem before from her. I just will become a surrogate daddy and feed him myself. I have had to do this before. I just go and get puppy formula and feed him with a baby bottle.<br />He sure is a active little guy.<br />Guess I will cut his tail today also.<br />Still trying to decide on a name.<br />You fellows have gave me some good one's to choose from thats for sure. Thanks.

Well I have decided on "Chance"<br />I want to thank everyone that throwed out a name for me and will keep all updated on the little guys progress.<br />Well it's time to chop the ol tail.

Sorry about all the other pups Spin. My pick would be Jake. Reason being he is a surviver like Israel (the nation) who's founders original name was Jacob b4 being changed to Isreal. Or to go the whole hog how about Sama, short for Osama (the bloke with the funny hat) as the odds for survival seem pretty simular. Now for somthing more distinguished, Buckley or Buck. A convict who escaped the law in Australia and took up with the Aboriginies to survive. The expression Buckleys hope or just plain "Buckleys" is used to describe a very limited chance or a long shot.
