Howdy All,
I’m having a little trouble identifying a problem with my 1986 75hp Mariner. I have the style of choke that when you push the key...it clicks. Well, it stopped clicking and I am stumped. I thought maybe the choke solenoid was faulty, so I purchased a supposedly working used one to no avail. When the key is pushed, power is sent back to the solenoid. I’m just not too familiar on how this system works. I have searched a bunch on the web, but could possibly be using the wrong terminology. I feel like it’s something simple that is right under my nose. I’ll attach a few pics for reference. My good tester is on a job site right now...please excuse the junk one.
