I have a mark twain with a mercruiser 165 hp chevy 6 cylinder in it. When running the engine at home with the muffs on it runs fine. I took it out to the lake this weekend and launched it for the first time. When I got out about 300 yards it popped through the carb and died but would start right back up but when you give it throttle it would pop and die. Could this caused by the carb dumping too much gas or am I looking in the wrong place?
It has new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, and fuel pump.
Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Richard
