I am looking at a 2004 lowe with 3.0l Alpha gen 1 trinidad pontoon. What problems will develop if any leaving the pontoon in the water from April till October. The marina doesn't allow lifts in the slips.

Corrosion and marine life build up are the only real problems unless there are problems to begin with like bellows leaking.

Make sure all your zincs are on and in good shape. Use an anti-fouling paint on the outdrive- one that's specifically for the aluminum outdrive. Annual maintenance is critical. Both my drives sit in salt water from late May to late October. The original owner also boated in salt. The drives have very little corrosion on them. They're the original Alpha Gen 2's- 26 years old.
