Most of you may have already seen this. But for
the benifit of those who have not, and their
seems to be some interest in Deer right now.
So here is the story of the world record white
tail taken back in 92 or 93 just a few hundred
miles from here.
www.naoutdoors.com/pages/stymilohanson.shtml

Kinda makes me smile inside, Just a regular Joe who has done what weve all dreamed about. The up's and downs of the hunt ending in a good memory with the added bonus of a fantastic deer. Record or not we all go through the same emotions.

What is more likely...Shooting a world record buck or getting hit by lightning cashing in your winning power ball ticket. My money is on the latter, but it's nice to dream.

Ya he's just a regular Joe Neumanns. And judging
by his account of the events, it could happen to
me or you, in smallsville anywhere. And just
like playing the lottery, you wont win if you
dont participate, ya never know hey Gaugeguy.

Yeah, thats a good story, gives the rest of us "average" guys some hope. ;)

You guys heard about that non-typical killed in Iowa? A 15 year old boy shot a non-typical that I believe has been scored around 320. If the score holds up, it will be the highest scoring whitetail ever killed by a hunter. Only two known whitetails score higher, the Missouri Monarch at 333, and the Hole in the Horn buck, from Ohio at 328, but they were both found dead. I believe pictures are in the latest North American Whitetail magazine.

Thats just crazy. :p

I read that story about that non-typical "the walking world record" I guess they called it. Not walking anymore. The 15 year old boy's father actually missed the same deer the previous year. It really is a life changing event.
