My 3.0 L mercruiser fired today!!!!!

I'm a little excited right now but i just got my motor to fire up about 30 mins ago. Ran her around 2 G's to break in cam and it was running better every min. I did have the dist 180 so it took a few cranks to get her. But she wanted to fire on the 1st shot... iknow it. <br /><br />Thanks for everyones help... Now i gota go track down a trim cly so i can test drive it. <br /><br />thanks alot <br /><br />Excited Big-E

Dude... im haveing the same problem... the solnoid will click but thats it... what did you do please help my 3.0 is a 2000 but it sounds like the same problem

jdizzil4shizzil,... There's a Link for You in Big-E's other thread....<br /><br />Here's a Quick Tip,.....<br />Remove,.. Sand,.. Replace,+ Tighten EVERY Electrical connection In your Starting Circuit,.....<br />Including the Ground Cables..........<br /><br />If that doesn't Fix your Problem,+ the Battery is at Full Charge,.............<br />Replace the Starter.................
