Near record high in Mn today ???

Weather channel is saying maybe 86 Deg here in Mn today.. Damn if that doesnt get my throttle hand shakn Dang rivers are still at flood stage though.. where to go...

Go dump it in Minnetonka! Talking around 80 up here too. Was out in the boat yesterday. Very light winds and the low 70's. Water surface temp was only 56. But, what a great time on the water. We were the only boat on the lake!

Amazing isn't it? We always tend to get at least a few days of indian summer and frankly I have just been waiting for this. My boat is getting winterized/serviced as we speak. I feel silly that I am getting my sprinklers blown out tomorrow. Of course I bet it's not a week before we are down in the 30's again.

That's the thing, next week they're talking hi's in the 40's up here. One extreme to the next.....

You may not belive this but we had record lows at 34 and record highs 91 same week low humidity and a burn ban issued by Gov.. Water temp on lake today was 76. Kinda strange for Mississippi in OCT. Hey but I can live with it....
