Hello Boat fam.
Recently I had my galaxy work boat swap from OMC to mercruiser. Every since I've gotten it back I have had Zero issues. last week marked my first issue at the lake For some reason my boat decided to start heating up. I watched the temp gauge and it creeped up to 200 degrees, I quickly shut it down and noticed smoke coming from exhaust. Fast forwarding, I got towed in took the boat home and hooked up ear muffs to my boat. Noticed again NO water coming out of exhaust. In looking closer into my outdrive area. I noticed a wire that was broken (SEE PICTURE) Can someone tell me what this wire does. Im sure its no supposed to be broken.
Thx
Chris

BONDO Thank you. Im going to do the inspection myself. While I replace the impeller. Is there anything else besides adding gear oil back that I need to replace. One of those things while your in there you might as well replace it!

Ayuh,.... I'd start with a full kit in-hand, as ya don't know whether the housin's are damaged,.....

Grease the end of the driveshaft, 'n make sure the quad-ring is in-place when ya slap it back on,.....
