Hey everyone. So I bought a 1992 four winns 315vista. The starboard drive works but needs replacing. I was told it's a king cobra daddy king cone clutch. I found one thats in like new condition with original paint. I picked the drive up and took it to my marina witch told me it's not the right drive. Can somebody please tell me what drives this boat has and what drive I bought. They look the same to me but it's hard to tell as boat is still in water. Thanks

Welcome aboard!!
You may already know, OMC has been out of business for nearly 20 years. Your engine and drive combination is very likely "unique" to say the least. If it is in fact a cone clutch drive, you have a very rare bird indeed. It's likely there are many parts for for your engine and drive that are no longer available except by cannibalizing parts from other engines and drives.
It will help to know what your engine/drive model number is. OMC called many engine//drive combinations "King Cobra"
Your 1992 boat could be powered by any of the following engine/drive packages.

The drives for the above packages are probably not interchangeable.
It will be helpful if you post the correct model number of your engine and drive package.
If your engines are EFI , you have a "Double Whammy"
Some EFI parts are not available anywhere (except midnight autoparts etc) If those parts fail, you'll be pulling the EFI stuff off both engines and replacing with a carburetor and the IGN systems with something like a DELCO EST or Mercury Thunderbolt etc.....
