OMC Tach

Good Morning everyone,
Does anyone have a picture of how their tachometers is wired or a diagram of how the tachometer is suppose to be wired? I had a friend install a used one and I want to make sure that it is properly wired I think they added a jumper that shouldn't be there.

They all connect the same for the most part.
Power, ground and signal wire. Usually signal wire goes to the throttle box, just colour veries by maker as you can see in the diagram.

Ayuh,.... The tach sender wire might go though the control box, but it gets it's signal from the (-) terminal of the coil,....
