Got an E-rude 130hp that runs great. About 30 hours on it since the remanufactured powerhead was installed. When I go out with my wife and I the boat will idle at 650rpms in gear, and will idle until I cut it off. We were idling for about 25 minutes a few weeks back and she didnt even hiccup.
Most of the time, this boat is loaded down with three guys, a big, heavy 40 gallon bait tank coolers, trolling motor, fishing rods etc. She will start up and still runs great, but what I noticed is that the idle will fall to about 600 rpms while in gear and will sometimes stall out. The back of the boat is about 4" deeper in the water when loaded down. Do you guys think that I should bring the idle up to 650-700 rpms when heavily loaded down to fix my issue? That way it would go up to 700-750 with a light load.
