power steering problem/question four winns, 3.0 l gs

i keep blowing my return line to my power steering pump.it builds up extreme presure after about 3 minute then blows the line off, The line is made of 3/8 power steering return line, factory equipment... so could this be a problem with the ram or the pump? Is there a check valve that can go bad in the pump or ram? any suggestions? thanks

Depends on WHERE it's blowing apart....<br />Have you checked to see if the cooler is Plugged...

Thanks Bondo, I had pulled the cooler off and it is a little restricted. Now the question is how much restrtion is normal from the factory?Is it a free flow through the cooler or is it a mild retriction to slow it down for cooling purposes?<br />i can blow trough it but it is not totlly free,just a little drag, also is there an exploded parts digram for the cooler anywere on the net?<br />Once agian thanks for the input<br /> Dinky
