I saw a boat the other day with a 250 hp outboard, and it had 2 props one in front of the other??
Do you need a longer prop shaft for this?? does it work much better then a single prop?? Do they get better or worse gas milage?? Do you recomend them??
I have a 175 Yamaha
Always looking for the best performance!!
Thanks

Re: Prop's

Re: Prop's

You're welcome!

They're just like the Volvo dual prop I/O set up. The coolest one was a Merc unit that never was produced.

It had the two props but the second one didnt kick in until a certian rpm. It worked on hydraulic pressure.
