In the shadow of a personal tragedy, Brett Farve's father dying unexpectedly, the packers put on an exhibition in how the game of football is supposed to be played last night.

Dominating line play, tough defence, a little luck and a focus on "TEAM" play made this one of the most enjoyable games I have watched in a long time. Farve threw for four touchdowns and two of them went to Javon Walker. No sign's, cell phones, or sharpies made appearances. No chest beating after every tackle. No team dances in the end zone after the Raiders had folded their tent. No self promotion, poor sportsmanship, or stupidity. The game of football was the reason to watch, not the antics of some juvenile athletes tying to get one more second of camera time on themselves.

I also felt bad for the Raiders who have seen a dramatic decline in just one year. The Packers may not have been as good as the Raiders were bad but both teams looked and acted like professionals. I hope that the NFL looks at this game as to how players are to conduct themselves on the field.

Living in Wisconsin and growing up near GB may make me bias, but that is how I saw it.
