Replace broken Flywheel Magnet on 1995 175 Johnson

Hello there, I am only new to this site and I have a 1995 175hp Johnson with a broken magnet on the flywheel. Would anyone be able to tell me where I could get a replacement and would I just smash the broken one of or is there a releasing agent I should use?

Get a used flywheel, you can't buy the magnets by themselves and trying to epoxy a flywheel magnet is a risk in itself, do you want a magnet coming off at 6000rpm?

There's one for sale on flebay for $50, buy it and be done with it


It's off of a 97, I took the liberty to look up the part #'s for you, 95 is the same.

Ya it's in the US, even so, with shipping it would be 1/10th the price!

Its cheap but he says no overseas shipping although I sent him a message to see if we could work something out.
