thanks to everyone on iboats thats helped me out. being a first time boat owner ive had my boat out 4 times this year and got her running good for a 84 model 3.0, just got a couple easy questions that im a little concerned about,if i run about half throttle it runs about 170 when i open her up it quickly jumps up about 200 degrees and i cant run it very long at wot for the fear of overheating it ,is this normal, i see everybody else running wide open but there in newer boats , is it just the age of my boat or something else,also my trim is not very responsive,ive cleaned n greased every connection,nut, bolt,n washer , on this boat made em all shiny so i wouldnt have any connection problem,and i still have to hit the trim button 2 or three time before it will engage, think this is a switch problem or a motor problem thanks in advance for any help
