The first rule of boat buying is - survey<br />the second rule is sea trials ( 3-4 ) times.touch, test and play with everything- and be prepared to negotiate or walk, <br />And the third rule is always always take a knowledgable 3rd party with you. Someone who is not riding the excitment train with you. <br />If this is your first boat then you have learned a valuable lesson. Take the winter to estimate the cost of repairs and fix her up and roll her over to get a boat for you that will be as close a compromise to the vessl you want.

Looks like this is a post from an unhappy and uneducated employee. I have 3 SeaRays and will always have SeaRays. I don't understand the meaning of such extremism....<br /><br />Val

I'll give him particial credit for standing up for what he belives in, however, if he was a QC inspector why would he: 1 allow the use of cough drops as a "shim". 2 Allow them to "laminate" fiberglass under the shower floors. Allow them to cut a boat in half for Modifacations after the order.... If you are upset with the work condictions (or if they are unsafe)...find another job or fight it... Don't retire then b1tch. (My .02 for the day). ps I happen to like Searays.

OMG. Talk about a website that was created by an 12 year old. By any means that website is stupid. I am sure why the owner made that site is probably lost his job there due to his lack of workman ship and his quality of work done there. Don't bash the manufacture... just admit that its your quality of work you done there that made you loose your job.<br />Cough Drops??? LoL.. I bet they caught him putting them in there and was not suppose to... bang.... you lost your job. Dont get upset... theres plenty of jobs out there... but make sure its not with an boat company/manufacture.... then you will bash them in once you loose your job with them too.<br />
