done the ole impeller job, and when re-installed gearcase the shift linkage seems to be off. There is a spring loaded device that hooks around the linkage @ the interconnection point that acts as a non kickup for reverse I believe. Looks to me that the adjustment has to be all the way down in order for that device to work, so that is how I have it. In neutral there is a clacking noise when I spin the prop, and when in reverse it doesn't seem to be fully engaged. It was taken apart in reverse as that was the only way to get a wrench on the linkage nuts. Any suggestions??
