I have 1980 Suzuki DT3.5. Water is not coming out of the pee hole in a steady solid stream. It seems to be a light spray. I already tried running a wire into the hole but didn't improve, it appears the wire just pushes straight in as if nothing is connected to the hole. I'm not sure of the inners that connect to the pee hole. I looked in a clymer manual but it's totally worthless.

I already pulled the water pump and checked the impeller and replaced the gasket. also blew out the hole for intake with compressed air. tested the water pump with drill in bucket and appears to be pumping water without problem. I then proceeded to connect a hose to the tube the water is blown up through and ran compressed air ie 100lbs of pressure and seemed to blow through there, did the same with the pee hole. I tried blowing on the hose and it seems to not be obstructed.

When running at idle you can see bubbling from the water. I'm assuming this is just the exhaust from the engine. If I spray air in the pee hole the bubbling gets stronger down below

I received the Suzuki Service Manual. According to the manual under coolant diagram it exhaust the water back into the housing, doesn't have a tube that goes to the pee hole. I checked the head temperature and it doesn't apprear to be getting hot, not even warm. the water in the bucket is still cool though.

I'm in Vancouver Washington. I don't think this motor has ever been in salt water. Looking at all of the components of the engine, the engine is immaculate for being a 1980. All the decals and paint are still original and intact. Looking at the inside of the housing there's no rust.
